Please read this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) carefully before using the Mubasher Screens View Only Terminal (“VOT”) and related services (together, the “Service” or “application”).
Protecting your privacy is a top priority for Mubasher Screens (“we”, “us”, “our”). In this Policy, “you” / “your” means the individual user or an authorized representative of a corporate entity using the Service.
Important: Mubasher Screens VOT is a view-only market data terminal. It does not provide trading, order entry, or order execution. User identity, contact details, and access credentials are created and managed by your administrator / institution (for example your broker or firm admin). The application does not ask you to submit registration or KYC information such as name, address, telephone, email, occupation, financial profile, or trading history.
By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge this Policy. Where we process limited technical or preference data as described below, we do so to operate and improve the VOT.
If you are a natural person located in the European Union / EEA, you may be a “Data Subject” protected under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where applicable.
1. Definitions
Affiliate means a legal entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with another legal entity, while that control relationship exists. “Control” means direct or indirect ownership or power to control more than 50% of the voting securities or the power to appoint more than 50% of the governing body of an entity.
Products mean the Mubasher Screens View Only Terminal software and related market-data viewing modules made available by Mubasher Screens and/or its Affiliates.
Services mean delivery of the VOT and related market-data feeds, connectivity, and support channels used for viewing market information.
Administrator means the institution, broker, or system administrator that provisions and manages your access to the Service outside this application.
GDPR terms (where GDPR applies):
- Data Controller — the entity that determines the purposes and means of processing Personal Data (this may be your Administrator for account identity data, and/or Mubasher Screens for technical Service data).
- Data Processor — the entity that processes Personal Data on behalf of a Data Controller.
- Data Subject — an identified or identifiable natural person.
- Personal Data — any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
2. What this application does and does not collect
Through the VOT application itself, we do not request or collect the following categories of information (these are handled by your Administrator, if needed at all):
- Name and identification details
- Mailing / business address
- Telephone number and email address
- Username and authentication credentials (issued and managed by your Administrator)
- Demographic or professional information (for example occupation)
- Information about intended or executed transactions or trading activity
- Financial profile, income, net worth, or suitability information
When you sign in, the Service only uses credentials already provided by your Administrator to establish a view-only market data session. We do not use the VOT to open trading accounts or process trades.
Information that may be processed in connection with operating the VOT includes:
- Technical session tokens or identifiers needed to keep a secure view-only session active (generated by the Service after Administrator-managed authentication)
- Device and technical data needed to run the application (see Cookie & device section)
- Application preferences stored on your device (language, layout/workspace settings, theme, display preferences)
- Diagnostic or crash data where enabled, to maintain Service reliability
We may use this limited information to:
- Authenticate a view-only session against systems provisioned by your Administrator
- Deliver market data screens, charts, news, and related view-only functionality
- Secure the Service and diagnose technical issues
- Remember your workspace and display preferences
- Improve performance and stability of the VOT
- Comply with applicable legal obligations related to operating the software Service
3. How long we keep information
Technical and operational data we process is kept only as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain security, and fulfill the purposes in this Policy.
Account identity and credential records held by your Administrator are subject to that Administrator’s retention policies. Preferences stored on your device remain until you clear or reset application data.
4. Disclosure of information
We may share limited technical or operational data with Affiliates and carefully selected service providers that help host infrastructure, deliver market data connectivity, or support the VOT — not for trading or order routing, because the Service does not trade.
Where your Administrator is the controller of your identity and access records, questions about that data should be directed to them. Mubasher Screens may disclose information where required by law or regulation, or to protect the security and integrity of the Service.
We do not sell your Personal Information. We do not use the VOT to perform credit checks, collect trading debts, or process payment card data for trading activity.
5. Data security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data processed by the Service, including limiting access to systems that support sessions and market data delivery.
Communications with our Service are protected using industry-standard encryption (such as TLS/SSL) where supported. Access credentials are managed by your Administrator; you must keep any credentials assigned to you confidential and follow your institution’s security policies.
We are not responsible for loss arising from malware, network failures, or similar events beyond our reasonable control. Transmission over the internet is never completely risk-free.
6. Cookies, local storage, and device data
The application may use cookies and similar technologies, and may store preferences and technical data on your device (for example language, workspace layout, and connection settings). These help secure sessions, remember settings, and improve performance. They are not used to collect registration or KYC forms inside the VOT.
Further detail is set out in the Cookie Policy below. We do not control cookies or trackers on third-party sites or services linked from the Service.
7. Support communications
If you contact support, we may process the information you choose to include in that communication (for example a description of a technical issue) in order to assist you. Telephone or other support channels may be monitored for quality and security where permitted by law.
8. Links to other services
The Service may contain links to third-party services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review the privacy notices of those third parties before providing them with Personal Information.
9. Modifications
We may update this Policy at any time by posting a revised version with the Service. Changes take effect when posted. Please review this Policy periodically.
10. Rights under GDPR
Where GDPR applies, we will honor applicable Data Subject rights for Personal Data we control, subject to legal exceptions, including access, rectification, restriction, objection, erasure (except where retention is required by law), portability where technically feasible, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
For identity, contact, and credential data managed solely by your Administrator, please exercise your rights with that Administrator. If Mubasher Screens acts as a Data Processor, we process Personal Data only on documented instructions from the relevant Data Controller.

For questions about your user account, password, or personal details on file with your institution, contact your Administrator.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
This Policy is governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Courts of Egypt have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or in connection with this Policy, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your country of residence.

The Service may rely on third-party infrastructure (for example hosting or distribution platforms) whose privacy practices are described in their own policies.
7. Managing cookies and preferences
You can manage cookies and similar storage through your device or application settings where available. Clearing this data may end your session or reset workspace preferences.
